Mya and her daughter Isabella  came to me in March of 2008 when thier co-owner Vikki McDonald of Hillside Hounds asked me about co-owning them with her. Vikki and I share the same vision of beautiful Saluki, as her girl Hannah is the littermate sister of my creme boy's, Daaviid , mother Diva! Diva and Hannah, both of whom are from Al Khabara Afghan Hounds and Saluki , have parents from the kennel Aziz in Finland. I have seen quite a few Aziz Saluki and have admired them, hoping one day to eventually be able to import a Saluki from the Aziz kennel. Until then, my boy, Daavii, came to me with a pedigree from several of my favorite kennels in Saluki - El Shaddai, Cazimir, Chezday, Al Khabara, Aziz, and Baghdad. So when Vikki offered me the chance to co-own her beautiful girl, Mya, I couldn't turn the chance down and felt like a fool if I would have.

Mya has been a wonderful addition here to the house, and an absolute bed hog to boot! More will be added, as at the end of this month (it's now May 2008), I will be taking her with me to the 2008 Saluki National Specialty show. Will see how she does, and will be running her for her JC title. Will update her webpage fully next month after the National Specialty.
