Oksana

Oksana came from Gryffyns Aeyrie  in McKinney, TX. She is the first of four hounds from RLynn and Victor, all of which are grinners. I had originally wanted a pup from a previous litter of thiers, but it turned out that he wanted to be a singleton... which is fine, as I have future plans on breeding Miss Oksana to Solo in the future!

Oksana has a high prey drive and loves to chase the bunny. She has already taken down a four point buck that got into our yard, all by herself! She is working on getting her bench championship, as well as her coursing and racing titles. Her bench championship has been limited to my showing her or sending her off with her handler, Vicki McDonald, Hillside Hounds. Life has gotten in my way of showing several of my hounds and I am seeing a hopeful change in 2008 to possibly get her out and perhaps finish her. As for her coursing, Oksana has such a high prey drive that she also gets upset if another dog passes her. Her coursing career might be just limited to her JC title as sometimes she does not like to share the lure at all. She loves doing everything, most especially running. She's known as my Rag-Zoi, and will happily lay upside down in my arms or over my shoulders. She is super loving, almost like Malibu Borzoi in her goofy, happy go lucky temperament.
